Tahanu, Dec 4 (RSS): Senior leader of the Nepali Congress Ram Chandra Poudel has said the tyrannical attitude surfaced in the country has been a big threat to democracy.
During an election campaign programme organized by NC publicity committee at Damauli Monday, leader Poudel said although the country adopted the federal democratic republic, the tyrannical attitude was likely to bring severe dent to the democratic system in Nepal.
“The people who left villages for various reasons should be brought back to village. We’ve half accomplished this task,” he said, adding that facilities as of motorway, electricity, and entrepreneurship would help them prosper their villages.
Nationwide wave for NC: Dr Koirala
Similarly, General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala said NC’s wave has created a basis for ensuring its victory.
Former finance minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat has claimed that it was NC that established democratic system and paved way for economic prosperity in the country.
Industrialist and NC proportional election candidate, Binod Chaudhary, underscored the need of ensuring victory to Nepali Congress, so that jobs would be created for all 4 million Nepali youths who are labouring abroad.
Other leaders as Pradip Poudel, and Amar Raj Kaini said it was pressing need to vote for NC to guarantee development and prosperity and promotion of democracy.
