November 20 (NepalNiti): Leaders of the Left alliance met with President Bidya Devi Bhandari to discuss the controversial national assembly election ordinance. Leaders, KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal along with other top alliance leaders met with President Bhandari this morning.
The meeting was to discuss the ordinance that Nepali Congress leaders sent to the president for approval before the parliamentary elections. UML strongly opposes the provisions for a single -transferable-vote system ordinance sent by Prime Minister Deuba.
Nepali congress is at risk of not winning a single seat if the election to the National Assembly are held under a majoritarian system.
