Kathmandu, December 29 (Nepal Niti) – Traibidya Shikchhya Sadan and Novodaya Foundation, jointly conducted ‘National Anthem Program’ in Patan Durbar Square with the slogan of “ Make Nepal great again, Respect our National Anthem”.


In the program, students from Traibidya Shikchhya Sadan performed the national anthem. Likewise, representative from Navodaya Foundation provided the brief introduction of their organization highlighting about the different programs they have been doing like fund collection for flood and earthquake victims around the different part of our country and construction of schools which was damaged during the earthquake and flood. The team from Navodaya foundation also performed the thematic dance about the HIV/AIDS related stigma and discrimination prevailing in our community.

Traibidya promotes the Nepali identity and follows project based learning (PBL) where students are taught things practically. Traibidya was awarded with International school Award (ISA) on 2015 by British Council for the schools outstanding performance.


Relating to one of the project named “This is how we do it” Traibidya organized this national anthem program collaborating with Navodaya Foundation which is an NGO that works for Women empowerment and for underprivileged children who live in slum areas. The students of Traibidya collected funds for the NGO to give away to the HIV Shikchhya Sadan where HIV/AIDS infected children are provided with residence and education.
